The Lazy Girl’s Guide to Great Hair

Are you a self-proclaimed “lazy girl”? Hey, there’s nothing wrong with that, especially when it comes to your hair routine. Looking to elevate your hair with minimum effort? Well, look no further. We’ve got five super simple hairdos that’ll have people tagging #hairgoals.

Do the Twist

It’s best to start with damp hair and a bit of styling crème, but works just fine with dry hair, too. (The benefits of damp hair will be apparent in our next tip.) Begin by splitting your hair into two sections as if you were making pigtails. Next, start at the top of the hairline and carefully twist the hair away from the face working your way down to the ends. Repeat on the other side. Take both sections and cross them at the back of the head to form a loose knot. Finish by securing the ends with pins, and you’re done!

Undo the Twist

If you’re looking to achieve the perfect beachy, natural wave without the hassle of curling your hair, then we’ve got you covered. Follow the steps above, but make sure you begin with damp hair. Add a little bit of styling crème and do the twist. Leave your hair in the double twists all day, and overnight if possible, to reveal the perfect loose wave with minimum effort. Just take out the pins whenever your hair is dry and shake it out. Pretty easy, right?

The Side Braid

Braids are back my friend, and there’s nothing easier than the side braid. The key to this look is a soft texture. Begin by using a bit of styling crème and working it through hair for frizz maintenance. Next, gather your hair under one ear and begin braiding. Don’t braid too tight or this look could go kindergarten-chic quick. Secure with an elastic once done. Finish by loosening up a few pieces in the front for a more casual look.

The Double Bun

Your favorite low-bun just got an upgrade, and it’s still easy to do. Begin by separating hair into two equal sections and tie the sections into a knot pulling tight against your head. Next, tie another knot on top of the first knot. Finish by tucking in the ends and pinning them in place. For those with longer hair, wrap the excess hair around the bun and pin it in place. Add a little hairspray for extra hold.

The Side Pony

This look is not only super easy but super chic too. You’ll want to start by working some styling crème into your hair to get rid of any frizz or flyaways. (For an extra sleek look, begin by putting styling crème into wet hair and blow-dry hair straight with a paddle brush.) Next, use a comb to part your hair deeper on the side than you usually would and secure hair with an elastic at the nape of your neck.

For defense against pesky frizz and flyaways, use the Nutrifuse Styling Crème. With ingredients like argan oil, keratin, and collagen, it’s perfect for anyone looking to make hair sleeker without too much effort.

So, what’s your favorite lazy day hairstyle?
