5 Easy Hairstyles to Try During Quarantine

Whether you are staying at home, or are an essential employee during these unexpected times, we have 5 easy hairstyles below that you can easily do right before work to keep your hair out of your face or to feel put together while you are at home during quarantine.

Messy Side Braid

The messy side braid is a fun and simple hairstyle that can easily be achieved. Begin by putting all of the hair onto your preferred side, and section it off into three separate sections. Then, interlock the three sections in alternate directions and secure with a ponytail. Once the braid is secured, you can begin to tug some sections to make the braid appear more voluminous and messy, and if you don’t mind a couple of hairs on your face, then we recommend to pull some hairs from the front of your face to add some texture and messiness to the look.

Double Space Buns

Although we might recognize this look from the Star Wars franchise since it was made iconic by Princess Leia, this is an ideal hairstyle for those that are working at hospitals or have to wear face masks all day. The double space-buns act as the perfect replacement for the placement of face mask bands instead of on the ears, which can cause tension and could be painful at the end of a long day. However, even if you are stuck at home, this cute and simple hairstyle can be a nice pick me up. All you need to do is separate your hair down the middle of the head and into equal parts. Make two ponytails and make sure that they are placed evenly on both sides. Once they are secured, you can wrap the loose hair around the ponytail to make buns, and secure them with bobby pins or hairpins. See?! That was easy, and now you have a cute and edgy look to reward your efforts.

Sleek Ponytail

Now, this hairstyle may seem easy, but depending on your hair type and texture, it can be quite challenging to achieve. Yet with the right products and tools, no hair look is impossible. First things first, make sure that you have a brush and a styling crème in hand to control any flyaways and to help with styling. Simply brush your hair and make sure that there are no knots or tangles and part your hair to your preferred style, then make a low ponytail. After, apply about a dime-sized amount of styling crème and gel of your choice and brush over your parted hair. Depending on the product you use, it should keep the hair in place while giving you a sleek and stylish look.
